How To Measure Your Hat Size | Hat Size Chart
Measuring head circumference is an important process in determining the size of hats for both children and adults. It ensures a proper fit and comfortable wearing experience. Follow the instructions below to accurately measure head circumference:
For Children:
- Have the child stand, sit, or lie down.
- Secure the starting point of the measuring tape or soft ruler on the upper edge of one eyebrow.
- Place the measuring tape or soft ruler tightly against the scalp, ensuring it is in contact with the head (if there is excessive hair, gently move it aside).
- Wrap the measuring tape or soft ruler around the highest point of the occipital bone and the upper edge of the opposite eyebrow, back to the starting point.
- The length measured is the head circumference.
For Adults:
- Have the individual sit or stand.
- Using a measuring tape, start from the prominent part of the occipital bone at the back of the head, pass through the temporal area, and end at the forehead, creating a horizontal circle (the maximum diameter of the head).
- The measurement obtained is the head circumference.
